Again I booked a coach and ticket package but with a company closer to home and with a little less drama this time.

I found it quite an enjoyable show and it was great to hear so much of Tommy being played. It was also good to hear some of Pete’s solo stuff being played live for the first time. I don’t remember it being very loud though and although I admire Simon Philips as a drummer and Steve Bolton as a guitarist, it wasn’t really The Who was it?

Other memories:

Pete's "I’m going bald, mid life crisis, beard and ponytail combo"

Roger’s hair being almost back to pre McVicar proportions.
