That show was my very first concert, I was one month away from turning 13 and ended up getting probably the last 2 tix because we sat in the last row at the top (the tickets were either $4.50 each or $9.50 each, for some reason I remember it was either a 4 or a 9 at the beginning). My dad drove my friend and myself there and picked us up. BILLY JOEL was the opening act. I could swear he did Piano Man, but that wasn't released as a single until 1973. I wish I could find someone else who was there to clear it up! All I know is I'll never forget it!

I was at the show. The exact name of the venue was the Miami Beach Convention Hall. In its place is now the Miami Beach Convention Center. It was an amazing show although I don't have set list. Man was it loud. My ears rang for two days afterward! I remember Won't get Fooled Again was late in the show, I believe after the Tommy pieces. Great memories.

I too was there. Baba O Riley was saved for last and there was no encore-but what a show that was! I can assure you that Billy Joel was not the opening act. It was a four man band which was pretty good, but name unknown. I was rather stoned that evening. If I can find the ticket stub or any surviving photos, I'll let you know. The Who stayed at the Castaways Hotel on the beach ("that expensive place" per Roger Daltrey right before playing Bargain.)
