This was my second Who concert. Only the original four band members played the just released Quadrophenia LP, among more familiar songs, and the audience reaction was "mixed" during the Quad songs. I remember John Entwistle playing a French horn during a small part of it ... unusual to say the least. For the most part, the British Quadrophenia concerts earlier hadn't and then wouldn't go much better, and of course San Francisco was a disaster.
